"Delivery was late... or at least that’s what stuck with me"
I don’t remember much else about the order, but I definitely remember waiting around way longer than expected. Maybe everything else was fine, but the late delivery is the part that stayed with me, and yeah, it was annoying

"Complaint handling was really poor"
I put in a complaint expecting at least some kind of proper response, but they basically just ignored it. This is where it got annoying, because I followed the process and still ended up with no clear reply or acknowledgement. Really disappointing experience overall.

"Arrived okay, but the packaging made me nervous"
It showed up on time and the appliance seems to be working fine, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, the box was banged up with a few dents and one corner ripped open, which didn’t exactly inspire confidence. Thankfully nothing inside was damaged, but I do feel like it could’ve been packed a bit better. Overall I’m happy enough, just not totally convinced the delivery/packaging was handled as carefully as it should’ve been.

I got the order confirmation fine, but after that the delivery info was really vague. I ended up having to chase for updates, which got frustrating. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but I do wish I’d read the reviews first so I knew what to expect

I only used it for a few weeks before it started acting up and not working properly. I reached out about it, but it kind of felt like nobody even read my message, which was frustrating. Overall, not the quality I was hoping for

the delivery updates were frustrating. i was given a date, waited around, and then nothing showed up. i didn’t get any proper update either, i had to chase it myself to find out what was going on.
customer service wasn’t much help and just gave me vague answers, like nobody really knew where things stood. i ended up wasting a whole day waiting in, so i wouldn’t use them again for anything i needed in a hurry.

"Helpful when I needed a hand"
I had a bit of an issue with my delivery time, so I reached out to customer service. They replied quickly and managed to get it sorted without making me go back and forth a million times (which I really appreciated). It wasn’t totally perfect since I did have to follow up once, but overall they were friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with.
"Return took way more effort than expected"
I bought a small appliance that looked fine online, but once it arrived it just didn’t really work for my kitchen setup. No big drama, I figured I’d return it and move on, but wow, it turned into a bit of a mission. There were a few emails back and forth, and the instructions weren’t super clear, which was frustrating.
After they received it back, I still had to follow up about the refund, which felt unnecessary. To be fair, the money did come through eventually, so it wasn’t a total disaster or anything. Still, the whole returns process felt slow and awkward, and I’d probably hesitate before ordering from them again.

"Fridge showed in stock but wasn’t"
I ordered a fridge because the site said it was in stock, paid for it, and then got told afterwards that it actually wasn’t available. I had to wait around and keep chasing for updates, which was frustrating. The refund did come through in the end, but isn’t it reasonable to expect the stock info to be accurate before you take someone’s money? Just felt like a waste of time and could’ve been handled better

"Not really the cheapest"
I was expecting better prices, to be honest. I looked at a few items on appliancesdirect.co.uk, but once delivery was added, they actually worked out more expensive than other places. Even the “offers” didn’t seem like much of a deal. I ended up buying elsewhere in the end. A bit annoying, as I’d politely assumed they’d be more competitive.

"Listing was inaccurate and it really frustrated me"
I ordered this because the product page said it had certain features, but once it arrived, those features just weren’t there. I reached out to support hoping they’d clear it up, but they basically just pointed me back to the same listing that was wrong in the first place. It ended up wasting my time, i was disappointed.

"Website was a pain to use"
The website just annoyed me the whole time. Pages was loading slow and every time I went back, the filters had reset, so I had to start all over again a few times.
Trying to compare appliances wasn’t easy either. Some of the info I needed was missing or hidden away, and the basket page was really clunky on my phone.
In the end I just gave up and ordered from somewhere else. Not a great shopping experience, wouldn’t be in a hurry to use it again.

"Showed Up Smashed, What a Joke"
The box showed up badly damaged, and of course the appliance inside was dented too. I reached out expecting someone to care or help fix it, but nope. Frustrating experience all around, what a joke.

"Tracking wasn’t much help at all"
I ordered from Appliances Direct because our old appliance had packed in right before the weekend, which was already annoying because I’d planned to sort the kitchen out that Saturday. The tracking was basically useless though. It just sat on “dispatched” for days with no real updates, and then the delivery time changed at the last minute. I ended up having to chase it myself, which kind of defeats the point of having tracking in the first place. Not great if you’re trying to plan your day around a delivery

"Okay washer, but not the best deal :/"
I ordered a washing machine from Appliances Direct and it’s been working fine so far, so no major complaints there. But it didn’t really feel like great value for what I paid. Delivery cost extra, and then the price dropped not long after I bought it, which was frustrating :/ Overall, it’s okay, but I’d definitely shop around more next time!
